WHAT WE RAN INTO
Review added a fire-hardening package and brush clearance requirements that changed the exterior assemblies mid-design. We swapped in ember-resistant vents, rated eaves and non-combustible cladding before plan check rather than fighting it in correction cycles.
THE RESULT
A finished canyon-edge home built to current fire-hardening standards, permitted through coastal review without a redesign.
