Primary Bathroom Remodel on Cass Ave, Woodland Hills
On Cass Ave in Woodland Hills, a cramped 1960s primary bathroom was gutted and rebuilt with a large walk-in shower, double vanity and new plumbing.

- Final cost
- $48,000
- Duration
- 5 weeks of construction
- Size
- 95 sq ft primary bath, walk-in shower
- Permits
- LADBS, permitted and inspected
SCOPE OF WORK
- Demolition to studs and removal of the old tub
- Curbed walk-in shower with full waterproofing and flood test
- Double floating vanity and new lighting
- New copper supply lines and ABS drains
- Correctly sized exhaust ventilation
WHAT WE RAN INTO
The original shower valve was buried in a shared wall with no access panel, fed by corroded galvanized pipe. We replumbed the wet wall from the crawl space up, so the new valve is serviceable without opening tile.
THE RESULT
A flood-tested, fully replumbed bathroom finished in five weeks.
