WHAT WE RAN INTO
A protected tree sat squarely in the middle of the buildable rear yard. We shifted the footprint and rotated the plan to stay outside the protected root zone, which kept the tree and avoided a removal application.
THE RESULT
A full-size second home on the property, permitted without touching the protected tree.
